  • Tickets generally go on sale eight weeks prior to the performance unless you purchase a season subscription of five or more events.
  • All ticket purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges are available unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled.
  • If you lose or misplace your tickets, call the Ticket Office to have duplicate tickets waiting for you when you arrive. Duplicate tickets cannot be mailed. In the event that multiple guests hold tickets for a specific seat, priority will always be given to the original purchaser.
  • We encourage all patrons to purchase tickets ahead of time to avoid long lines and late seating.  Will Call tickets may be claimed at the Ticket Office or point of entry.  Unclaimed Will Call tickets will not be released for a sold-out performance.  To avoid waiting in line, consider having your ticket(s) mailed to you at no additional charge.  Ask at the time of purchase about our tickets-by-mail service.
  • If you have a group of ten or more who are interested in coming to a Visiting Artist Series event, you may be able to save 20% on the price of the tickets. Call the Ticket Office for details at (574) 631-2800.

General House and Guest Services Guidelines

ADA Accommodations
All venues at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center are fully accessible.  Please notify the Ticket Office at time of purchase of an individual’s or groups special needs.  We can accommodate you with wheel chair or removable armrest seating, storage of walking aids, walking assistance, or other requests.  The Ticket Office will work with you to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience. For Visiting Artist Series theatre performances, ASL interpretation will be provided during the last show; if mutlitple shows are offered.

Arrival Time and Late Seating
Please respect the performers and your fellow audience members by arriving early to avoid late seating.  The doors of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center will generally open at least one hour before the event; individual venues generally open 30 minutes prior to curtain.  Allow extra arrival, parking, and walking time during some Notre Dame Varsity sporting events, especially on home football game Fridays and Saturdays.  Please see http://www.und.com for all Notre Dame Varsity sport season schedules or contact the Sports Information Office at (574) 631-7516.

You must arrive on time to be seated.  Once a venue closes for a performance to begin no latecomers will be admitted until an appropriate break, pre-designated by the artist.  Timing of late seating varies and the wait may be substantial.  Televisions are often available outside of a venue for viewing the performance while waiting to be seated.   When late seating occurs, often patrons are not able to take their assigned seat because of the disruption it causes to the artist and other patrons.  Consequently, a limited number of easily accessible seats are reserved for these patrons to use until intermission.  At intermission the late patrons are encouraged to take their originally assigned seat.

ATM
A “no fee” ATM is located across from the elevator bank immediately inside the west hallway off of the North Main Lobby.

Audio Aids
Hearing assistance devices are available free of charge to the hearing impaired if the appropriate audio equipment is being utilized in the venue.  Please verify whether hearing assistance devices can be used before the performance.

Cameras/Cell Phones/Pagers
Cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in the facility.  All cell phones, pagers, and alarm watches must be turned off before the start of the performance.

Children
The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is committed to providing quality cultural experiences for audience members of all ages, although some performances and films may not be suitable for very young children.

Every child, regardless of ages and even if lap-sitting, must have a ticket. Please inform Ticket Office staff if you will attend with a child to receive help with seating selection.

We ask that children sit quietly throughout the entire performance. If a child becomes disruptive, the child and his/her adult companion(s) may be asked to temporarily leave the venue.

Children under 5 years of age will not be admitted to certain performances out of respect for other audience members and artist.

All ages are encouraged to attend family programming/performances with this icon.

For films presented by in the Browning Cinema, MPAA Film ratings, when available, can guide parent(s) or guardians in determining appropriateness for children. MPAA Film rating rules are observed and enforced by center staff.
