University of Notre Dame students seeking employment at the center must apply through the Office of Student Employment.  

Volunteers are an essential component of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.  Many people volunteer their time as ushers, docents and greeters for performances, films and events at the center. Ushers work a variety of performances: live performances by professional artists, plays by the Film, Television and Theatre Department, recitals and concerts by the Music Department, academic lectures and special events of all kinds. We look for volunteers who are interested in serving the center by ushering at any of these events.

Though we are always accepting applications, we interview, hire and train ushers once a year. We interview in July and train in August for year-round ushering positions.
