Coordinated by Deborah Girasek-Chudzynski
"Playing Shakespeare has always been a delight for me," says ShakeScenes coordinator Deborah Girasek-Chudzynski. "Now, because of the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival and ShakeScenes, I get to invite all the members of our community to come and share in the joy. What a gift to me and our community!"
Watch as the girl next door gives advice to quarreling lovers. Shiver as your insurance salesman musters storms with a wave of his magical staff. Cheer the boy who mows your lawn as he leads his army through the War of the Roses. You'll relish each surprise in every performance of ShakeScenes, where members of the community, high school students, and grade schoolers present a wide assortment of short scenes taken from the works of Shakespeare. Don't miss your chance to find out why ShakeScenes, year after year, is one of the Notre Dame Shakespeare Fetival's most popular events!
Each day's ShakeScenes will feature ten all new performances, so join us on both Saturday and Sunday to catch all twenty!
