Shakespeare's powerful examination of madness, politics, and filial love is as resonant and important as ever.

King Lear is brought to life by Actors From The London Stage, the renowned 5-actor touring group founded in 1975 by Dr. Homer "Murph" Swander and Sir Patrick Stewart, along with many other celebrated actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company. This remarkable company has called Shakespeare at Notre Dame its artistic home since 2000, and travels to multiple colleges and universities nationwide twice annually.
