Grand Rapids Ballet in
the most romantic love story of all time
Celebrate the love of your life with a magical night of fine dining and entertainment at a special value.
Love is in the air the month of February, when the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center celebrates Valentine’s Week. Two performances of Grand Rapids Ballet’s new interpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless romantic tragedy, Romeo & Juliet, takes place in the intimate Patricia George Decio Theatre Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17.
To celebrate the excitement and fantasy this holiday captures so well, we are offering a love-themed special to help you and the love of your life create lasting memories beyond February 14. Because you need more than just a day to celebrate your Valentine, make it Valentine’s Week with our dinner + show special.
Valentine’s Dinner + Show
Begin the night with complimentary valet parking and fine dining at Sorin’s. Serving classic, traditional French cuisine with a modern Midwest flair, Sorin’s at the Morris Inn is one of the most romantic and elegant restaurants in town. Reservations strongly recommended.
Then, set your sights on your next destination—DPAC! Relax in your prime seats for iconic Shakespearean themes—love, sacrifice, and loss—re-imagined through ballet set to Prokofiev’s lush music. This innovative interpretation of the “tale of woe” focuses on the two lovers’ struggle with the social barrier that restricted and insulated them from childhood, and how it was broken for love.
