Event Requests
Host an event at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
Thank you for your interest in scheduling an event at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. The center facilitates learning through the performing and cinematic arts, which connect, stimulate, and enrich our communities. In pursuit of that mission, the center supports public performances and screenings hosted by the University’s performing arts departments and community arts partners. On occasion, the center hosts non-performance events presented by University departments and community organizations.
New clients interested in hosting their event at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center must submit their requests no fewer than 45 days prior to their anticipated event date. Upon approval, an event estimate and agreement are provided, then a meeting is scheduled to discuss event details. Venue space is reserved based on time and resource availability. The center is not available on Mondays for events. Submit an event request.
UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS
The center is available to University departments for private performances, screenings, and special events such as dinners, receptions, and presentations. Event requests must be submitted by a faculty or staff member. Charges are assessed and an estimate provided after the event details are determined.
ARTS PARTNERS
Arts organizations in the community that are designated as arts partners with the center should submit performance date requests via email. To become an arts partner with the center, email us to begin the application process.
AGENTS AND EVENT PROMOTERS
We currently do not provide venue space for public rental without an academic partnership or co-sponsorship. If you would like an artist or film to be considered for inclusion on an upcoming season, please submit your recommendation via our contact form.
STUDENT GROUPS
Due to the increased demand for venue space from University departments and arts partners, the center is unable to accept requests from student organizations without an academic partnership or co-sponsorship at this time. Student activities groups may schedule their events at Washington Hall.
HOST AN EVENT
The center requires no fewer than 45 days’ notice for all event requests. Venue space is reserved based on time and resource availability.
