Experience DPAC

Land here for updates, ideas + inspiration from your home for Arts + Entertainment.

Deciding how to spend your down time is an important way that you create your Notre Dame experience and your post-graduation memories. Making the arts at Notre Dame part of this exciting time in your life is relevant now and later. Maybe you’ll be asked to serve on an arts organization’s board or advocate for the arts at your child’s school. Perhaps you’ll startup or invest in a business with a mission to also give back to your community.

Why DPAC?

The arts offer enjoyment + release

See a show. Take a study break. Charge your phone. Or relax on the Terrace and Irish Green. Each year academic departments and University offices present hundreds of events at DPAC. Our expert staff supports these and programs events for the Presenting Series and Browning Cinema. We’re open every weekday for classes, rehearsal, behind-the-scenes stuff, tours and more. Not only do the world-class artists, filmmakers, and events the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center brings to campus provide enjoyment and release, they are also a part of achieving important aspects of the University’s mission.

“In addition, the University seeks to cultivate in its students not only an appreciation for the great achievements of human beings but also a disciplined sensibility to the poverty, injustice and oppression that burden the lives of so many. The aim is to create a sense of human solidarity and concern for the common good that will bear fruit as learning becomes service to justice.”

Great entertainment couldn't be any closer

The center is a short walk from the heart of campus and even closer to the Duncan Student Center (opening soon at the Notre Dame Stadium) and across the street from Eddy Street Commons.

Don’t feel like walking? Jump on the Campus South Shuttle route (ask to stop at DPAC).
