Arrival Time + Late Seating
Out of courtesy for all patrons, we highly suggest arriving early to events in order to avoid being seated late. The doors of the main lobby of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center are generally open at least one hour before the event and individual venues generally open 30 minutes prior to the start of a performance.
To be seated per your ticket, you must arrive on time. Once a venue closes for a performance to begin, no latecomers will be admitted until an appropriate break occurs, as designated by the artist/performer. Late seating entry varies with each performance and may be significant—or even impossible. If you are seated late, you will be directed to an easily accessible seat in the rear of the venue until intermission. At intermission, you will be allowed to move to your original, ticketed seat.
We encourage you to allow extra time for arrival, parking and walking during inclement weather and some University of Notre Dame varsity sporting events, especially on home football game Fridays and Saturdays. Please see und.com for all Notre Dame sport season schedules.
Cameras, Cell Phones + Smart Devices
We love technology at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, but not during a performance or film. Cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in any of the center’s venues during a performance or film. All cell phones, cameras and other electronic devices must be turned off before the start of the performance or film.This includes use of smartphones or similar: iPhones, Android phones, Blackberries, iPads, tablets, etc.
As a courtesy to others and the performers, please do not open cell phones or engage in text messaging during a performance.
For your convenience, coat check is located on the west side of the main lobby, adjacent to the Ticket Office. Our complimentary coat check is generally open during the winter months. The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Food + Beverage
With the exception of bottled water, food and beverages are not permitted in any venue except the Browning Cinema. Items purchased from the concessions booth, including soda, popcorn and candy, may be brought into the cinema. A variety of snacks and drinks may be sold in the lobby before performances and during intermission.
Lost or Stolen Items
Our staff collects any items left behind in the center. Please call the Ticket Office at (574) 631-2800 if you believe you have left something in our center. All lost and found items are collected monthly by Notre Dame Security Police (NDSP). If your lost item is not found in our building, please inquire with the NDSP at (574) 631-5555. The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center does not have public phones. In an emergency situation, guests requiring the use of a phone should ask to be directed to the center’s House Management. Campus phones are located at the center of the building, on the upper level across from the elevator bank, as well as near the north, east and west entrances of the center. Campus phones do not have outside lines; they reach numbers only within the University network.
Before contacting the Ticket Office, please review the following guidelines to see if your question is addressed.
- All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age.
- All ticket purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges are available unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled.
- If you lose or misplace your tickets, call the Ticket Office to have duplicate tickets waiting for you when you arrive. Duplicate tickets cannot be mailed and will only be printed the day of the event.
- We encourage all patrons to purchase tickets in advance of the performance to avoid long lines and late seating. Will Call tickets may be claimed at the Ticket Office or point of entry. Unclaimed Will Call will not be released for a sold-out performance, except for free events. To avoid waiting in line, have your tickets mailed to you for a minimal charge.

Inclement Weather Policy
As long as the artist can arrive to perform “the show will go on” as scheduled and contracted for. Refunds on ticket purchase price are not available. Please check this site for performance information. You may also contact the Ticket Office at (574) 631-2800.
Students, Faculty, and Staff Tickets
The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is committed to providing quality cultural experiences for audience members of all ages, although some performances and films may not be suitable for very young children.
No ticketed event is free for children, regardless of age, unless a $0 price for “All ages,” “Child,” or “Student” is displayed online or available at the Ticket Office. Call in advance to confirm the ticket price for a child.
Every child, regardless of age (even if lap-sitting), must have a ticket purchased for them. Please inform Ticket Office staff if you will attend with a child to receive help with seating selection.
We ask that children sit quietly throughout the entire performance. If a child becomes disruptive, the child and his/her adult companion(s) may be asked to leave the venue temporarily.
Children under 5 years of age will not be admitted to certain performances out of respect for other audience members and artists. If you have questions about whether the performance may be suitable for your child, please contact the Ticket Office for assistance.
For films presented by in the Browning Cinema, MPAA film ratings can guide parent(s) or guardians in determining appropriateness for children. MPAA film rating rules are observed and enforced by center staff.

Washington Hall Ticketed Performances
Unless a performance is listed on this website (e.g. Shakespeare at Notre Dame), the center does not ticket Washington Hall events. As the vast majority of Washington Hall performances are run by student clubs and organizations, those groups are responsible for ticketing their own events. Some tickets for performances may be reserved and/or purchased through the Student Activities Office at the LaFortune Student Center.

Print at Home e-Tickets
Print at Home is real-time online ticket sales with ticket printing wherever you are. Choose the seats you’d like from easy-to-understand seating charts and then print your tickets all in one seamless transaction. Choose Print at Home as your preferred ticket delivery method at checkout. Consult our PAH Instructional Guide for help with PAH ticketing.

Assistive Listening Devices
Infrared assistive listening devices are available free of charge to the hearing impaired for all venues except the Reyes Organ and Choral Hall. Upon request, a portable system can be made available for the Reyes Organ Hall if requested two weeks in advance. The device may be used with or without a hearing aid from any seat in the venue.
- To obtain the device and headset, please contact an usher prior to being seated at your performance or film.

Large Print Programs
Large print programs are available at all Presenting Series performances. Please feel free to request one from an usher when you arrive at a venue.
Sign Language Interpretation
Sign Language interpretation is scheduled for select Presenting Series performances at the Center throughout the year. Requests for additional sign language services must be made through the Ticket Office (574-631-2800) at least two weeks prior to the performance. These requests are subject to availability of an interpreter and are provided at the discretion of management.
Wheelchair Accessible Entrances + Seating
All venues at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center are fully accessible. As you purchase or order your tickets, please let the Ticket Office know of any specific seating requests. The Ticket Office will work with you to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The main entrances of the center are equipped with power doors. Each of our venues has accessible entrances. The usher staff will assist in directing you to the accessible entrance closest to your seats.
There is an elevator, located off the main lobby, which will allow you to access the balcony and mezzanine levels of the center. The Ticket Office staff can help you in selecting seating that best meets your individual needs.

Designated parking spaces for vehicles with valid state disability parking permits are available adjacent to the center. Parking spaces are available on a first-come basis. There are also accessible spaces in lots just north of the center.
All restrooms in the center are wheelchair accessible. They are conveniently located off the main and upper lobbies. All restrooms are equipped with a baby changing station.
A courtesy wheelchair is available for our patrons to assist with movement to and from assigned seats while they are at the center. To reserve a wheelchair, please call the Ticket Office at (574) 631-2800. If your party needs more than one wheelchair, please contact Campus Security at (574) 631-5555 for further assistance.
