We are in a cozy cabaret in Paris, the year is 1950. At the café tables, we hear scattered "Bonjours" and "S'il vous plaits". La chanteuse "Marcelle," played by Paris-born Claudia Hommel, strolls among her guests. Be delighted by the "latest hits" from Edith Piaf, Eartha Kitt, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Jacques Prévert, and Yves Montand. Be entertained and gain a new perspective on France, history, and human relations while falling in love with la chanson française.

Paris-born singer Claudia Hommel comes with Chicago piano man Andrew Blendermann to flirt, caress, love, lose, love again, and remember there will always be Paris. From the sultry side of Parisian chanson to the spunk and wit of Cole Porter, get ready to respond "C'est si bon." Claudia's interactive repertoire and her "sweet voice will make you want to buy chocolates and dance along the Seine." A French lesson you won't forget. You'll be humming "Bonjour Paris" as we stroll down the "Champs Elysées" "Under the Paris Skies" all the way to "The River Seine" and "Beyond the Sea". It's enough to make the heart beat "Padam Padam" for "La vie en rose."

The 3 p.m. performance will be in French. The 6:30 p.m. performance will be in English with songs sung in French.

This is a free but ticketed event. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Ticket Office one hour prior to the performance. To guarantee your seat, please pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the show. In the event of a sell-out, unclaimed tickets will be used to seat patrons waiting on standby.
