After his father abandons him to become an Orthodox monk, Sandro struggles to reconcile his duty to God and his awakening sexuality, which manifests in uncontrollable ways and leads him to questionable behavior, as he searches for meaning and belonging in the turbulent society of post-Soviet Georgia.



This is a free but ticketed event. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Ticket Office one hour prior to the performance. To guarantee your seat, please pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the show. In the event of a sell-out, unclaimed tickets will be used to seat patrons waiting on standby.

Co-presented by the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre, the Nanovic Institute of European Studies, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, and the Meg and John P. Brogan Endowment for Documentary Film.
