Roald Dahl's children's novel of the same name comes to stop-motion life under the direction of Wes Anderson, who very much makes a Wes Anderson version of the book. After 12 years of detente, Mr. Fox (George Clooney) breaks a promise to his wife (Meryl Streep) and mops the farms of their human neighbors. Mr. Fox's larceny upends the social structure of the countryside. When the farmers force Mr. Fox and company deep underground, Mr. Fox has to resort to his innate craftiness to rise above the opposition.
