New at the Browning
Directed by Vibeke Muasya
With Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Peter Macon, Robert Patrick
Not Rated, 93 minutes, DCP
Siobhan Fallon Hogan scheduled to appear live!
Val (Siobhan Fallon Hogan) still aspires after a long time of aspiring to be a country music singer. With the onset of the pandemic and the stages of her small town's bars shuttered, she pivots to work as a prison guard alongside her brother/warden (Robert Patrick). She slowly develops a caring relationship with Jackson Marcus (Peter Macon), who is incarcerated and facing execution. Shot in the hometown of Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Saturday Night Live, Forrest Gump, Dancer in the Dark), Shelter in Solitude highlights how we perform for others, how we care for others, and how we bond with others even when isolation is forced upon us.
This is a free but ticketed event. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Ticket Office one hour prior to the performance. To guarantee your seat, please pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the show. In the event of a sell-out, unclaimed tickets will be used to seat patrons waiting on standby.
