Taking inspiration from Phantom of the Paradise and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Macoto Tezuka (son of manga legend Osamu Tezuka) and friends transformed the soundtrack to a movie that didn't exist into a real-life motion picture—and hence The Legend of the Stardust Brothers was born! The story follows a shady music mogul who brings together a punk and a new-waver to form the Stardust Brothers, who become a silver-jumpsuited, synth-pop sensation. A wild cult hit in Japan, this newly-restored, unsung gem has a chance to hit the big screen for the first time in decades.

Free for ND, SMC, HC, IUSB, and High School students.

Co-presented by the Creative Writing Department and the Meg and John P. Brogan Endowment for Classic Cinema.
