Department of Music
The ND Symphony Orchestra presents a late fall concert. Titled "Tragedy and Triumph", the program begins with two works inspired by famous literary tragedies, Beethoven's Overture to "Coriolanus" and Tchaikovsky's so-called "Overture-Fantasy" on "Romeo and Juliet." The program includes with Antonín Dvořák's rousing Symphony no. 8.
