The plasticine adventures of Wallace & Gromit are well known around the globe and have garnered shelfloads of awards. Roughly 25 years ago, the creative team behind that expansive world forged a new creative path using the same stop-motion animation style but with a new set of characters in Chicken Run. Borrowing from Steve McQueen's The Great Escape, Chicken Run is also a breakout adventure, but with the likes of chickens who live on an egg farm that certainly looks more like a prisoner-of-war camp and not a cage-free shady acres. A rebel in the henhouse, Ginger, incites upheaval as she leads her fellow feathered friends on a mission to free and save their lives.
