As Mr. Boogedy really did a number on kids in 1986, the oft-forgotten Don't Look Under the Bed from 1999 is another Disney-made-for-TV movie that made its share of scars. Teenager Frances (Erin Chambers) sees the world with acute rationality. When she begins to be blamed for odd events around town, she suspects she may be being framed. To her surprise, the source of the deceit is a Boogeyman. Enlisting the help of an imaginary friend named Larry Houdini to deal with the prank-playing Boogeyman, Frances must get the chicanery to stop before everyone turns against her.
