Jason Swift is the Associate Lighting and Production Manager at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. His love for theater and live events began in high school, while working on one of the first high school productions of The Phantom of the Opera. This, and subsequent shows, propelled Jason to study Stage Management at the University of Connecticut and work for numerous theater companies in Philadelphia. After graduating with a BA in Theater Studies and a concentration in Stage Management, Jason went on to tour the US with a children’s theater company, presenting theatrical representations of classic literature stories and poems for thousands of students across America.

At DPAC, Jason oversees the lighting in the various venues, manages the tech services students, and coordinates and stage manages various Department of Music and Sacred Music concerts and recitals. Since moving to South Bend, Jason has become a member of the Young Leaders of Notre Dame and IATSE Local 187.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his goldens, Sophie and Riley, playing or watching sports, and exploring and traveling with his partner, Nina.
