This event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Chorale and the 32 years that Alexander Blachly, who is retiring in June, has been the Chorale's director. The program includes great works by Handel, Bach, Schubert, Schumann, Debussy, and Stravinsky. The first half of the concert features the Chorale with Paivi Ekroth as piano accompanist. The second half features the Chorale accompanied by the Festival Baroque Orchestra in six masterpieces of the choral literature.
