Presenting Series
The Katarina String Quartet has quickly emerged as one of North America's leading young string quartets. Currently serving as the Graduate Resident String Quartet at The Juilliard School, the tightly knit and community-focused ensemble explores all chamber music, from canonized works to contemporary pieces and arrangements of folk tunes.
Whether interpreting Beethoven or a modern composer, the 2025 Fischoff Competition Grand Prize Winner creates an intimate, compelling listening experience. Come to start the week with an afternoon interlude of artistry, where tradition meets innovation to tell stories in new and genuine ways.
Made possible by the Charles T. Morse Endowment for Excellence in the Performing Arts. Co-presented by the Department of Music.
