The American Advertising Federation Michiana recently held its annual award ceremony where the DeBartolo Performing Art Center’s in-house creative team was recognized with two 2018 American Advertising Awards (formerly called ADDYs). Since 2012, the center has won a total of 21 awards and has received more “Best of Show” winners than any other firm in the history of the awards.

The center won in the following categories:

  • Online/Interactive: Gold in the Consumer Website Category for the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center website, and
  • Elements of Advertising: Silver in Still Photography Campaign Category for Jessica Lang Dance Photography.

The website team at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center was led by Staci Stickovich, marketing program manager, and supported by Tony Costantino, operations/IT program manager; Leigh Hayden, director of marketing and communications; Tadashi Omura, graphic design specialist; and Kirk Richard Smith, creative director.

The photography team at the center is led by Smith and supported by Omura. Together, the two-person team designs and executes all graphic elements for the center, including branding, signage, collateral, video production, and advertising.

The American Advertising Awards recognize the true essence of creative excellence and is known as the world’s largest and most representative creative advertising competition. Winners from the Michiana American Advertising Awards move forward into American Advertising Awards regional awards, and regional winners compete at the national level.
