The South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestras presents its annual gala concert. The concert features Symphony Orchestra performing Howard Shore's original film score to The Lord of the Rings Symphony: The Two Towers and The Return of the King, in collaboration with Penn High School Choirs, Notre Dame Children's Choir, and guest artist soprano, Kaitlyn Lusk. SBYSO is the only youth orchestra in the world to perform this epic soundtrack. Guest soloist Solomia Soroka joins the Symphony Orchestra in performing the classic violin showpiece Zigeunerweisen.
