Founded in 2017, Kif-Kif Bledi aims to bridge the gap between social and academic spaces by preserving and sharing the richness of North African traditional dances. This initiative addresses the underrepresentation and misunderstanding of our cultural heritage in France, the ex-colonizer country in which we live.

Faced with the decline of natural transmission at social events and family gatherings, we explore new methods while respecting our ancestors. Our work positions traditional cultures in an increasingly individualistic and digital world.

"Kif-Kif? Transmission!" shares diverse stories from our seven-year journey, inspiring audience members to consider their role in cultural preservation and transmission.

Co-Sponsored by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts: Transnational France Research Cluster.
